Hello Tomodachi’s
How have you all been lately. It has been such a long time since the last time I wrote anything for my blog. I was too busy with other things to be motivated to write. But today is a little different because I wanted to share with you all how nicely 2022 has treated me thus far.
Take today for example. Today I had so many firsts that I am so proud of myself. I had enough courage to do what many other may, or may not, be too scared to do. Today I went snorkeling for the first time in my life. It was a very scary but interesting experience all at the same time. To say I was anxious and scared is an understatement but despite that I did not back down. It was the very first time I ever went so far from the sea shores so it is undertsandable that I was scared. I made sure to hold on to the boat’s ladder and the rope attached to the boat in order to keep me secured and prevent me from panicking from anxiety.
Not to mention, this was also my first step in overcoming my overwhelming fear of the deep ocean. Although, there were a few times I came very close to panicking but I tried my best to remain calm as much as possible because the worse thing you can do is panic when in the ocean. Panicking makes everything worse and increases your chances of intaking water and possibly drowning. So, the best thing anyone can do to prevent all of that from happening is trying to remain calm as much as possible. I would like to thank Sea Saba for the wonderful experience today.
If I have anything motivative to say to my blog followers, it would be to try doing new things this 2022. It is always a nice experience trying new things and there is nothing stopping you from doing it, except for maybe money and the opportunity. However, if you ever get an opportunity to do something new, do it! No matter how overwhelmed with fear you may be still try it out and you just might be pleasantly surprised. Of course, make sure you always have a professional around helping you but give it a try. Don’t hold it off for next time because as the saying goes “We are not always promised tomorrow”. Life is too short to be missing out on life-changing opportunities.
Now without further ado here are some pictures of my wonderful experience.

Hi, Angie! It looks like you had a wonderful time! You remind me of a few of my own firsts, like teaching myself to swim, and the first time I flew on a plane on my own. It’s great to push your limits. It’s like an axiom I learned from my father when I was young. He told me that whatever I do, I should do the best I can, then strive to improve on that.
That advice has given me a lifetime of memories and experiences, which now, in my senior years, I’m able to incorporate into the novels and short stories I write. So I appreciate your accounts that I read here. I look forward to reading more!
Namaste’,
Don

So, I ubderstand perfecrly what you mean. It is such an amazing experience and definitelt pushes you to your limits. It can be so scary but exciting at the same time. And as always thank you for always taking the time to read my posts and comment. I really appreciate it.

Indeed, Angie. And such experiences can be wonderful teachers, not just of ourselves but other too, if we let them teach and let ourselves learn the lessons they offer. It took me many years to accept that, so I enjoy seeing you learn it so young!
