Hello my precious readers and followers! As of Sunday I have returned to my island, Saba, for vacation. It has been about a year since I was last here. I return home every year for about a month and a half to two months. Therefore, I will apologise in advance to you all, as I will not be making 3 posts a week like I have usually done since I started. Saba’s library now has a copy of my poetry book, I’m Only Human!
After going through my news-feed on Facebook yesterday evening I was met with quite a surprise. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the governor of my island, Saba, presenting my poetry book (I’m Only Human) yesterday morning to the head Librarian, Miss Nanny. The Queen Wilhelmina Library is located in the capital of the island known as The Bottom. It was quite a shock to say the least. It was so shocked that I laughed like a maniac, along with a friend of mine, for the first few minutes of seeing it. Continue reading

I wonder how many of you know about Saba? I’m guessing maybe a handful of people. Even though Saba is an entity of the Dutch Kingdom, I’ve met a lot of people who had no idea that Saba even existed or was even part of the Dutch Kingdom. Poor Saba.
