How is everyone doing? If you can tell by the title of this post today is Saba Day and it is one of the few reasons to celebrate today. And my way of celebrating my island’s day is doing what I do best and that is, of course, writing poetry.

I guess this last week has been quite the poetic week for me. I am glad that I am getting inspiration to write now because I was starting to think I somehow lost my inspiration and motivation to write. But I guess not quite.

How are you all doing these days with regards to the pandemic, the elections, life in general? I hope that life is good to you wherever you are in this world. Enjoy the big things in life as well as the little things that come along and make you smile because they are just as important.

How are you all doing today? Some of you, I can imagine, are not doing all too great when taking into account what has been happening these last few weeks with police britalising and murdering another black person and people once again taking to the streets to protest.
