My upcoming children’s picture book progress

How are you all doing? On Friday I received a draft layout of my children’s picture book cover page and interior design (gallery) and I could not be happier. Of course,  I already had somewhat of a basic idea of how I wanted my book to appear like most authors do but when I received my gallery last week the layout exceeded my expectations. It has already been two years…

Earlier today a thought crossed my mind and I realised that January 8 (although the date has already passed) made two years that I became a published author to my first poetry book, I’m Only Human. Then I thought “Damn! Time sure does fly.” The saying ‘Time waits for no one’ is very true indeed. I wish time could slow down just a little. It is going way too fast. My gosh! Continue reading

Writer’s block can be quite annoying

Hello Tomodachi’s,

Are you doing well? Today I will be talking about every writer’s dreadful encounter known as the writer’s block. I, of course, have experienced my share of writer’s block which usually is not pretty. For writers, it is not a nice feeling at all when you feel all your creativity has dried up. During those times I can imagine most writers (like myself) feel lost and do not know what to do with themselves.

Being invited to Vangelis’ new music video release ‘Voor Ons’

Hello, Tomodachi’s,

How are you all? Today’s post I am going to talk about how I was invited by my singer-songwriter friend, Vangelis Sopamena, for the viewing of his new music video ‘Voor Ons’. The viewing was held on Thursday evening in Rotterdam at a cosy gay bar called the FERRY. The starting time of the event had begun at 8 pm, however, due to me being a little late I was unable to see the spoken word opening act to which I regret considering I am also a poet and a writer.
