G-Dragon, leader of the Big Bang, will be coming to Amsterdam!

Hello Tomodachi’s,

It has been a while since my last post. How are you wonderful people doing? I am doing alright. Just trying to do everything to the best of my abilities as always.

Anyway, last week I received some great news on my Facebook news feed. I saw that G-Dragon, the leader of the well known K-Pop boy band Big Bang, is comi to Amsterfam.

I am quite happy about it except for the price tag that came with the ticket (depending on the chosen seats). I wanted to have a somewhat good seating and had to pay the price for it, but oh well. At least I will be seeing  a concert of a singer I really want to see compared to all the two concerts I ever been to in my life. So, nonetheless, I am still glad.

Here is another poem of mine called ‘Try’.

Hello There Folks,

Today I wanted to share another poem I wrote called Try. I can imagine most of you have already experienced hardship and failure but yet you still try, try and try again until you have succeeded.

Experiencing failure or having things go wrong despite how hard you try is a horrible feeling. However, what is most important is continuing to try your hardest even despite all those failures.

Try

No matter how many times life tries to knock me down

I shall stand up and try

No Matter what trials I must face in the future

I shall continue to try

Even if I were to face adversity for things I believe in

I will still TRY

If my hopes and dreams were so easily attainable

Anyone would be able to achieve them

So yes, I shall continue to try

Because life is too short and dreams are too meaningful to just give up  on them half way.

Women’s (social) rights have come a long way.

Hello Tomodachi’s,

How are you all doing today? I am doing alright. Today is just another hot day in the Netherlands, which is something I am not quite used to experiencing over here. It is ridiculous how hot and humid it can get over here!

Yesterday, I came across an anime, Taishou YakyuuMusume, which was basically about a small group of female girls who wanted to start a baseball club and play baseball at their school. Sounds quite simple, doesn’t it? Wrong! Continue reading

This is such an amazing poem!

Hello Tomodachi’s,

How have you all been this past week? Another week passes again and before we can even blink we will be in July. Heck, before we know it it will already be the end of the year. And to think that the year we began not so long ago is already almost halfway through. It is crazy how quickly the time is flying!  Continue reading

I will be Participating in a Writing Competition

Konnichiwa Tomodachi’s,

How are you all? Today has been quite a lazy day, although, I have not been completely lazing around the house as much as I would like to right now. These past couple days I have been trying to write a children’s story for children aged seven years and older. Continue reading

Praying for all the victims who were injured or killed in terrorist attacks across the world.

Hello Tomodachi’s,

How are you all? I am saddened by all of the hate and atrocities happening all across the world. So, I wanted to write a blog talking about these tragedies and how there is so very little to no coverage talking about the (Non-Western) victims of terrorist attacks who have been injured or killed. Whether Western or Non-Western, I pray for all victims. It is just too sad that innocent have to get injured or killed for no real reason at all! Continue reading
