Starting Over

Hola my lovely fans! (Joke) Today is my Writing Related Fridays and I just realised that it has really been one month and a week since I last posted anything related to my own writing at all. I’m ashamed, lol… Well, today I’ve decided to post another snippet of a story that I have been working on for the past couple of years now. And, no, it is not the same story that I posted last time. This story I started writing way before I started writing the Forelorn One. Writing Starting Over has been going slowly but surely, but one of these days I shall finish it! And when I do I wonder what I should reward myself with? Maybe a trip to Japan which is something I have been dreaming of doing for quite some time… 😀

Well anyway, I hope you enjoy what I share with you because as I mentioned a month before, I do not really like posting my writing projects on the internet. By the way the first chapter that you see here is not the first pages of my story. I also have two prologues that I did not include here (Sorry). The Forlorn One

Hello my lovely fellow bloggers, followers and readers. Today is my Writing Related Fridays and so I would like to share with you just a piece of writing taken from one of the novels I have been writing for a while now called the Forlorn One. Contradictions

Hello everyone. Today is my Writing Related Fridays and so I would like to share with you all a poem called Contradictions which is another poem, like my poem Wounded, that was not taken from my poetry book I’m Only Human.

I wrote this some months back and was thinking that some point in our lives we all contradict ourselves do we not? Sometimes do you not find you are contradicting yourself? We shall meet under the sun!

We shall meet under the sunKonnichiha (‘ha’ is pronounced as ‘wa’ in Japanese) my lovely followers and readers! Today is my Writing Related and Summer Vacation Fridays ( though I am no longer on summer vacation anymore) and it is my third day since returning to the Netherlands. I would like to share a poem with you all to mark my leaving Saba. This poem is called We Shall Meet Under the Sun. It is basically making a promise to see my beautiful island and my family and friends residing on Saba again next time, whenever that next time will be. Though it probably will be sooner rather than later.

A good friend of mine who I allowed to read my poem, about almost 2 years ago, said it sounded to her like I was writing a suicide note, lol. 😀 Do not worry. It is not anything like that. I’m still alive, right?! Lol. This is just a poem about a person and friend, who is leaving their loved one(s) behind but yet at the same time promising to someday meet again under the sun, wherever that sun may be shinning. It’s been one month since I have returned home

mango treeHello, ohayo, buenos dias, bon dia, bonjour, goedemorgen! How is everyone? Are you all doing well? I am fine as always 😛

I just got back home a couple hours ago from Jouvert Morning which usually starts at four in the morning, but I left home a little later and it stopped at around 7.30 am. I mentioned on Wednesday that this whole week has been Carnival week and it is almost coming to a close where Saturday and Sunday is the final parades where people dress up in costumes and dance around the capital, The Bottom.

Anyway, I wanted to make a blog post yesterday but due to the internet not working properly I was unable to post a anything, so I’ll be doing that today. Today is the 1st of August and it has been a month and a few days since I returned home on vacation. Continue reading →

The Mysterious Creature

Hello everyone. Last weekend I had a very strange dream and so I decided to write it down as a story before I forgot it. It was quite a strange dream if I do say so myself. And I do not really know what to make of it. I have had a few people read it for me during that time and they too thought it was a strange but interesting and even maybe thrilling.
